Ziggy's Lair

So I just bought a new house.  As long as the inspection is clean I'll be a slumlord as of mid-June.  It's a duplex right across the street from my folks back in Montreal.  It's was pricier than I wanted to pay but at the same time well worth the money.  I'll have people renting it out while I'm still away in Alberta, so that will pay for most of the mortgage and associated expenses. 
The best thing about living across from my parents when I move back is that I won't have to cook for myself anymore, not that I do much now.

I've been up to a fuck load of nothing recently.  Lots of video games and... well... nothing. 

There have been a few days of note, though. 

St-Patty's Day:  Lots of incriminating pictures, 7 people in a Civic, open beers in a Civic, green beers in a Civic, me sober and on call, more incriminating pictures, 1 ho-bag, plenty of drama, 1 horse whip, a "few" drinks, too many cigarettes, 2 bars, 3 house parties, some unsolicited groping, darts mixing with drunk people, 1 man-whore, 1 eviction, 1 awkward moment, followed by other awkward moments, me sober, 1 very pissed off roommate, 100+ kms of rides to and from various locations, some more drama, 1 sprained ankle, several red asses.  The memories:  Priceless.

This weekend in Grande Prairie:  1100 kms,  1.5 tanks of gas, 299 dead spartans, many a beer,  3+ dumb-ass bouncers, 9 hours of sleep over 3 days, 1 night at the Corral, too much money spent, 1 sore back, 2 hotel rooms, 1 lumberjack slam, 1 box of donuts, 1 Timmy's coffee,  1 roll up the rim, nice weather, and more.

8-3?  8-3?  Goddam.

Since the last time I posted the following things have happened to me:

Lost half my demerit points
Quit smoking
Broke my laptop
Quit smoking
Watched  lots of porn
Fixed my laptop
Quit smoking
Watched some more porn
Kicking ass in the hockey pool with people I don't even know
Been on call 20 out of 31 days
Quit smoking

Well that's all I can think of for now so... yeah... that's it.

Well, I finally did it, I got my license.  That's right after driving illegally for over a year, 25,000Kms, 2 accidents, 1 speeding warning (why I didn't get busted I don't know but... yay), countless hours behind the wheel, 1 dead deer, 3 road trips, 2 flat tires, 4 provinces, lots of burnouts, and the list goes on.

Now I can speed and not worry about getting my truck impounded. 

Next step:  new car.  I've finally decided to get rid of my piece of shit truck and buy a brand spankin' new car.  My choice you ask?  A 2006 Honda Civic EX.  All the options and triple the gas mileage.  Can't wait. 

Oh, and Jon, if you say "told you so" I'm gonna make a trip to VanCity just to bitch slap you.

I am completely and utterly devoid of any inspiration for this blog.  I'll post again when I have something.

Fuck Microsoft.  Fuck' em.  I tried to cancel a subscription through them and lo and behold they don't like it when you do that.  The links they have to the cancel page just bring you back to the same pages all the time.  Then when I finally found the right page, it said I needed my account info to call them with but they didn't have a phone number posted.  Fuckers.  So I sent them an e-mail telling them that if they didn't cancel my suybscription I was going to lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.  I probably will anyways just for the hell of it.  Fuckers.
